Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the most common questions from Class 12 students during result season.
The Best of 5 is calculated by dropping the subject with the lowest marks from your 6 subjects, leaving you with the top 5 marks. The formula is: (Sum of top 5 marks ÷ 500) × 100. Most universities — including Delhi University (DU) — require English to be one of the five mandatory subjects. Always check the individual university's Best of 5 policy, as some include only specific subjects for their courses.
